I earned a bachelor's degree with highest honors from the University of Arizona in 2015, majoring in English Literature and Language and minoring in Classics. My college education gave me the opportunity to study a variety of periods, genres, and subjects, including film studies and creative writing. My experience encompasses over two years of tutoring at the high school and college level. I taught courses for standardized test preparation, and also tutored English, Classics, and writing at the university. As a result, I know successful methods for helping students of various levels. In addition, I was trained to work with students who have learning disabilities or attention deficits. Other subjects I can tutor include social studies, religious studies, math, and science.I am currently planning to become ordained, and I will be studying at Concordia Theological Seminary to earn my Master of Divinity degree. I enjoy reading, writing, and playing video games in my spare time. Some of my favorite books are Watership Down, Dune, Friday Night Lights, and 1984. I love both playing and listening to music, and enjoyed my years in marching bands. Taking trips with friends and family is another favorite pastime, and I've visited ten foreign countries.
